2023 Conference: Fundamentally You

The 2023 conference's core theme is "Fundamentally You" which is designed to help delegates find their unique skill set and strive toward reaching their full potential in the business world. This year's theme will focus on conquering business endeavours through the power of self-confidence and authenticity; delegates will have the opportunity to explore various perspectives from a variety of workshops and panelists. This conference will highlight the importance of soft skills in a saturated job market, learning the fundamentals of crucial business practices such as networking, leadership, LinkedIn, and the application process. As delegates participate in workshops throughout the day, they will have the opportunity to acquire immensely sought-after interpersonal skills as they work alongside one another. This helps to create a vast network of like-minded individuals. Having grown since our inaugural conference, SWIB has expanded to welcome a multitude of notable professionals alongside over 100 engaged delegates from our St. Francis Xavier community and other post-secondary institutions in Atlantic Canada.
