2021 Conference: Pushing Perspectives

The 2021 conference, labelled -“Pushing Perspectives”- is designed to enable delegates to strengthen their skills, create meaningful relationships, and recognize the value of diversity in the pursuit of their professional career. The theme this year will highlight diversity in the world of business and embrace different perspectives through diverse panelists and guest speakers. Delegates will learn about how to recognize and combat the struggles that are faced every day by members of our community. This conference will highlight the importance of soft skills in a saturated job market.

Delegates will acquire immensely sought-after interpersonal skills as they work with each other. With a focus on setting oneself apart from the crowd, delegates will be inspired to leverage the network that they will build throughout the weekend to kickstart their own initiatives. Through captivating speakers, panels, interactive workshops, and a case-competition, delegates are provided with a memorable and educational experience. Having grown since our inaugural conference, SWIB has expanded to welcome a multitude of professionals alongside 90 engaged delegates from our StFX community (other communities via virtual delivery in the interest of abiding by COVID-19 restrictions).
